If your request is declined

We will always explain why a request could not be approved. Common reasons include:

Eligibility not met — Household income or LIG documentation does not meet programme criteria.
Incomplete documents — LIG proof, ID, or prescription was missing or could not be verified within 14 days.
Invalid prescription — Prescription is expired, incomplete, or not from a registered medical practitioner.
Medicines not covered — Prescribed items are outside programme guidelines or formulary.
Annual limit reached — The beneficiary has reached the annual programme support limit.

Appeal within 15 days

Email info@mattamfoundation.org with subject line Medicine Support Appeal — [Request ID]. Include your request reference and any new documents. We respond within 10 business days.
